株式会社ANCHOR（以下「当社」）は、当社が提供するニュースアプリ「NEWSVISOR」、法人向けサービス「NEWSVISOR INTELLIGENCE」およびウェブサイト（newsvisor.jp）（以下総称して「本サービス」）における、利用者の個人情報を含む情報（以下「利用者情報」）の取扱いについて、個人情報の保護に関する法律（以下「個人情報保護法」）その他の関係法令を遵守し、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」）を定めます。

1. 取得する情報

当社は、本サービスの提供にあたり、以下の情報を取得します。

(1) 利用者から提供いただく情報

• Googleアカウント・Apple IDによるログイン時に、各事業者から提供される情報（氏名または表示名、メールアドレス、各事業者が発行する利用者識別子、プロフィール画像）
  ※Appleでログインする場合、利用者の選択によりメールアドレスが非公開（中継用アドレス）となることがあります。
• お問い合わせ時にご提供いただく氏名、メールアドレス、お問い合わせ内容
• 法人向けサービスのお申込み時にご提供いただく会社名、部署名、担当者氏名、連絡先、請求先情報
• アプリ内で設定いただく情報（関心のあるカテゴリ・キーワード、表示言語、通知設定など）
• 有料機能をご購入いただいた場合の購入情報（購入した商品、購入日時、購入・契約の状態、各アプリストアが発行する取引識別子）
  ※クレジットカード番号等の決済情報は、Google Play または App Store が取り扱い、当社は取得しません。

(2) 本サービスの利用に伴い自動的に取得する情報

• 端末情報（端末の機種、OSの種類・バージョン、言語設定、アプリのバージョン）
• 端末識別子・広告識別子（Android広告ID、iOSのIDFA〔利用者が許可した場合に限ります〕など）
• 利用状況に関する情報（閲覧した記事、タップ・スクロール等の操作履歴、利用日時、滞在時間）
• プッシュ通知用のトークン
• IPアドレス、クラッシュログ、エラーログ
• ウェブサイト閲覧時のCookie等の情報

当社は、位置情報（GPS等の精密な位置情報）、連絡先、写真等の端末内データを取得しません。

2. 利用目的

当社は、取得した利用者情報を以下の目的で利用します。

1. 本サービスの提供、アカウントの作成・認証・管理のため
2. 有料機能の提供、購入・契約状態の確認、返金等の対応のため
3. 利用者の関心に合わせたニュースの表示、AIによる要約・解説等の機能提供のため
4. プッシュ通知によるニュース・お知らせの配信のため
5. 広告の配信・表示および広告効果の測定のため
6. 本サービスの利用状況の分析、品質の改善、新機能の開発のため
7. 不具合・障害の調査および対応のため
8. お問い合わせへの対応、重要なお知らせの送付のため
9. 法人向けサービスの契約管理、請求、ご案内のため
10. 利用規約に違反する行為、不正利用の防止および対応のため
11. 個人を識別できない形式に加工した統計情報の作成のため

3. 外部サービスの利用（情報の送信先）

当社は、本サービスの提供にあたり、以下の外部事業者のサービスを利用しています。これらのサービスを通じて、利用者情報が各事業者に送信されることがあります。各事業者における情報の取扱いは、それぞれのプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。

なお、当社は、OpenAI APIに送信したデータがAIモデルの学習に利用されない設定（同社API利用規約上の標準の取扱い）で利用します。

このほか、ニュース記事の収集・翻訳のために、ニュース配信API、各報道機関のRSS、翻訳サービス等の外部サービスを利用していますが、これらのサービスには記事の見出し・本文等のみを送信し、利用者の個人情報は送信しません。

4. 広告について

本サービスのアプリでは、Google LLCが提供する広告配信サービス「Google AdMob」を利用しています。AdMobは、利用者の興味・関心に応じた広告（パーソナライズ広告）を表示するために、広告識別子等の情報を利用することがあります。

• Android：端末の「設定」→「Google」→「広告」から、広告IDのリセットまたは削除ができます。
• iOS：アプリのトラッキング許可を求める画面で「許可しない」を選択するか、「設定」→「プライバシーとセキュリティ」→「トラッキング」から設定を変更できます。

5. 第三者提供

当社は、次の場合を除き、あらかじめ利用者の同意を得ることなく、個人データを第三者に提供しません。

1. 法令に基づく場合
2. 人の生命、身体または財産の保護のために必要がある場合であって、本人の同意を得ることが困難であるとき
3. 公衆衛生の向上または児童の健全な育成の推進のために特に必要がある場合であって、本人の同意を得ることが困難であるとき
4. 国の機関もしくは地方公共団体またはその委託を受けた者が法令の定める事務を遂行することに対して協力する必要がある場合であって、本人の同意を得ることにより当該事務の遂行に支障を及ぼすおそれがあるとき
5. 利用目的の達成に必要な範囲内で、個人データの取扱いの全部または一部を委託する場合（第3条の外部サービスの利用を含みます）
6. 合併、会社分割、事業譲渡その他の事由による事業の承継に伴って個人データが提供される場合

6. 外国にある第三者への提供

第3条に記載の外部事業者は、主にアメリカ合衆国に所在し、利用者情報はアメリカ合衆国その他の外国のサーバーで保存・処理されることがあります。アメリカ合衆国には、日本の個人情報保護法と同等の包括的な連邦法は存在しませんが、各州法等による規制があります。各国の個人情報保護制度については、個人情報保護委員会のウェブサイト（外国における個人情報の保護に関する制度等の調査）をご参照ください。当社は、各事業者が個人情報の適切な取扱いのための措置を講じていることを確認したうえで、これらのサービスを利用します。

7. 保存期間と削除

当社は、利用目的に必要な期間に限り利用者情報を保存し、不要となった情報は遅滞なく削除または個人を識別できない形に加工します。

8. 安全管理措置

当社は、利用者情報の漏えい、滅失または毀損の防止その他の安全管理のため、以下の措置を講じています。

• 基本方針および取扱規程の整備
• 取扱担当者の限定、従業者・委託先に対する教育および監督
• アクセス権限の管理、通信の暗号化（TLS）、不正アクセス対策
• 外国にある事業者のサービスを利用する際の、当該国の制度の把握と委託先の選定・監督

9. 開示・訂正・利用停止等のご請求

利用者は、当社に対し、個人情報保護法の定めに基づき、保有個人データの利用目的の通知、開示、訂正・追加・削除、利用停止・消去、第三者提供の停止、および第三者提供記録の開示を請求することができます。ご請求の際は、第12条のお問い合わせ窓口までご連絡ください。ご本人であることを確認したうえで、法令に従い遅滞なく対応します。

10. お子様の利用について

本サービスは13歳未満のお子様を対象としておらず、当社は13歳未満のお子様の個人情報を故意に取得しません。未成年の方は、保護者の同意を得たうえで本サービスをご利用ください。13歳未満のお子様の情報を取得したことが判明した場合は、速やかに削除します。

11. 本ポリシーの変更

当社は、法令の変更や本サービスの内容の変更等に応じて、本ポリシーを変更することがあります。重要な変更を行う場合は、本サービス上またはウェブサイト上で事前にお知らせします。変更後の本ポリシーは、本ページに掲載した時点から効力を生じます。

ANCHOR Inc. ("we", "us" or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of information, including personal information, of users of our news app "NEWSVISOR", our business service "NEWSVISOR INTELLIGENCE" and our website (newsvisor.jp) (collectively, the "Service"), in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (the "APPI") and other applicable laws. This English version is a translation for reference; if there is any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Information We Collect

(1) Information you provide

• Information provided by Google or Apple when you sign in with a Google account or Apple ID (name or display name, email address, user identifier issued by the provider, profile image). If you sign in with Apple, your email address may be hidden (relay address) at your choice.
• Your name, email address and message when you contact us
• Company name, department, contact person, contact details and billing information when applying for our business service
• Settings you make in the app (topics and keywords of interest, display language, notification settings, etc.)
• Purchase information when you buy paid features (item purchased, date and time, purchase or subscription status, and the transaction identifier issued by the app store). Payment details such as credit card numbers are handled by Google Play or the App Store; we do not collect them.

(2) Information collected automatically

• Device information (model, OS type and version, language setting, app version)
• Device and advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID, iOS IDFA only if you allow tracking, etc.)
• Usage information (articles viewed, taps, scrolls and other interactions, date and time of use, time spent)
• Push notification tokens
• IP address, crash logs and error logs
• Cookies and similar information when you visit our website

We do not collect precise location (GPS), contacts, photos or other data stored on your device.

2. How We Use Information

1. To provide the Service and to create, authenticate and manage accounts
2. To provide paid features, verify purchase and subscription status, and handle refunds
3. To show news matched to your interests and to provide AI features such as summaries and explanations
4. To deliver news and announcements through push notifications
5. To deliver and display advertisements and measure their effectiveness
6. To analyze usage, improve quality and develop new features
7. To investigate and fix bugs and failures
8. To respond to inquiries and send important notices
9. To manage contracts, billing and communications for our business service
10. To prevent and respond to violations of our Terms of Use and fraudulent use
11. To create statistical data processed so that individuals cannot be identified

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide the Service. Your information may be sent to these providers. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy for how they handle information.

We use the OpenAI API under settings in which data sent through the API is not used to train AI models (the standard treatment under OpenAI's API terms).

We also use other external services, such as news APIs, publishers' RSS feeds and translation services, to collect and translate news articles. Only article headlines, text and similar content are sent to these services; no personal information about users is sent.

4. Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may use advertising identifiers and other information to show ads based on your interests (personalized ads).

• Android: You can reset or delete your advertising ID from Settings > Google > Ads.
• iOS: You can select "Ask App Not to Track" on the tracking permission prompt, or change it from Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

We will not provide personal data to third parties without your prior consent, except:

1. When required by law
2. When necessary to protect a person's life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent
3. When especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain your consent
4. When necessary to cooperate with a national or local government body performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining your consent may impede those duties
5. When we entrust the handling of personal data, in whole or in part, within the scope necessary for the purposes of use (including the third-party services in Section 3)
6. When personal data is provided in connection with a business succession due to a merger, company split, business transfer or similar event

6. Transfers to Third Parties in Foreign Countries

The providers listed in Section 3 are mainly located in the United States, and your information may be stored and processed on servers in the United States and other countries. The United States does not have a comprehensive federal privacy law equivalent to the APPI, although state laws and other regulations apply. For information on foreign privacy regimes, see the website of the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan. We use these services after confirming that each provider takes measures for the appropriate handling of personal information.

7. Retention and Deletion

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes of use, and delete it or make it non-identifiable without delay when it is no longer needed.

8. Security Measures

• Establishing a basic policy and handling rules
• Limiting personnel who handle data, and training and supervising employees and contractors
• Access control, encryption in transit (TLS) and protection against unauthorized access
• Understanding the legal regimes of foreign countries and selecting and supervising providers when using foreign services

9. Your Rights

Under the APPI, you may request us to notify you of the purposes of use of, disclose, correct, add to, delete, suspend the use of, or erase your retained personal data, to stop providing it to third parties, and to disclose records of provision to third parties. Please contact us at the address in Section 12. We will respond without delay in accordance with the law after verifying your identity.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Minors should use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may change this Policy in response to changes in laws or the Service. We will give advance notice of material changes in the Service or on our website. The revised Policy takes effect when posted on this page.
